Rick Morrison, President

With 26 years experience in animation production, Rick has been nominated for a Golden Eagle Award, a Cable Ace Award, and a Gemini. As a co-founder of Funbag Animation Studios in Ottawa, Rick played a crucial role in the delivery of hundreds of half hour programs to a global client base. He directed, produced and executive produced over 200 half hours of proprietary content currently airing worldwide. He has spent time abroad directing productions across Europe, East Asia and California.

Rick also maintains a strong familiarity with the various tax credit programs offered by the Canadian Federal and Provincial governments.

In his off time, Rick sports a lethal 7 iron from about 160 yards.

Cory Morrison, Director / Chief Creative Officer

A graduate of Sheridan College's Animation Program, Cory’s artistic talent has shaped his ability to inspire dynamic storytelling. His excellent sense of design, colour, movement and composition has allowed him to excel in all areas of the creative process. His strong initiative and self-direction compliments his respect for maintaining schedule and budget, while achieving the highest level of quality. Cory thrives in a creative environment and takes a hands-on approach with talent, artists and production personnel; garnering him the utmost respect from his peers.
Cory is also head of development at Big Jump currently overseeing several projects ranging from preschool to prime time, working closely with a roster of incredible artists, writers and designers from all over Canada

Rod Amador, Director / Chief Technology Officer

Another product of the renowned animation program at Sheridan College, Rod has developed a reputation as an “industry jack of all trades”. He has spent more than a decade working on dozens of television series, providing supervision and direction services, spanning design through animation. Rod’s unique combination of creativity and technical expertise has found him advising various animation studios in the development of their digital production pipelines.

Rod's analytical approach to production also provides him with a deft yet subtle touch around the golf greens.

Shannan Thomson, Vice President of Production

Shannan began her television production career in live action, on series and documentaries for The History Channel and The Comedy Network. From there she made a seamless transition into animation as a studio line producer. In early 2008 she joined Big Jump Productions as Head of Production, managing television production, promotional work and interactive deliverables. In 2012 Shannan became Big Jump’s Vice-President of Production.

Focused and results oriented, Shannan has captained the delivery of over 50 hours of programming. Her screen credits include the 4th cycle of The Secret World of Benjamin Bear (Disney Junior), the 2nd cycle of Ugly Americans (Comedy Central) and the first season of Brickleberry (Comedy Central). Presently, Shannan is helming the first season of the Prime-time series Bounty Hunters for Muse Entertainment and CMT.

Capitalizing on more than a decade of experience Shannan provides extensive knowledge and insight invaluable to the animation production pipeline.

Ram Srinivasan, Vice President of Finance & Business Affairs

With more than fifteen years of experience in the film and television industry, Ram brings expertise in production financing models and in the area of film related tax credits for Canadian content and co-ventures including treaty co-pros and web based digital productions.
